Panos Panayiotou is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association. He has also been an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London.
Panos obtained his law degree from the National and Capodistrian University in Athens and he continued his postgraduate studies at the University of Leicester, U.K. where he was awarded the degree of Master of Laws in European Union Law in 2003. Panos is the firm’s Data Protection Officer.
Before joining GCP LAW as a Senior Partner and Head of Litigation in 2017, Panos was a partner at the law firm of Alecos Markides & Co, for more than a decade, where he gained a remarkable experience and reputation as a highly regarded litigator in the fields of administrative law, civil and commercial law, medical negligence and professional malpractice, enjoying an excellent record in litigation. He had been cooperating with GCP LAW since the very beginning of its establishment in 2006 as Of Counsel in the Litigation field. Panos speaks fluent Greek and English and good French.
