7th Cyprus Banking Forum

GCP Law participated as the exclusive Legal Partner at the 7th Cyprus Banking Forum that was organized by IMH at the Landmark hotel in Nicosia, on the 27th of November.

During the event, the new trends of the banking and financial sector were highlighted and discussed in the attendance of delegates coming from all major Banks and financial services institutions of the country.

Founding/Managing Partner of GCP Law, Georgia Constantinou-Panagiotou, who was among the speakers of the event, mentions:

“ I was profoundly pleased to be a Keynote Speaker at the Cyprus Banking forum last Friday, and be able to share my views on the upcoming trends for 2020 on de-risking and compliance, from the angle of a lawyer and managing partner, third-party introducer to banks, entrepreneur and a compliance officer!

It was a great honour to be given the opportunity to address a remarkable audience consisting of esteemed peers and colleagues, as well as recognized leading personalities each in their own industry.

In my speech, I highlighted the necessity for banks and other key players in the economy, to become pioneers and to keep pace with change, innovation and progress in order to face the challenges ahead.  It is the Banks that successfully adapt to change, that will enjoy an exceptional competitive advantage in the years to come, being able to deliver a renovated customer-friendly service, decrease operational costs, and substantially de-risk their operations by effectively using a Business-Enabling Compliance. ”
